ASME B16.5 are the basic American petroleum industry standard. Some refer to them as ASA and others ANSI flanges. These are ASA150, ASA 300, ASA 600, ASA900, ASA 1500 and ASA2500 all of which are forged flanges. Above Class 2500 API standards are more prevalent (API 2000, API 3000, API5000 etc).
As of 2023 the inclusion of Spectacle Blinds (Line Blinds) and Orifice Plates has been added to the range.
Monolithic Joints are used to electrically isolate sections of pipelines. In certain sizes and materials they are available from Australian stocks. Class 150 through to Class 2500 up to 300nb in size with specials above that up to 1050nb and exotic alloys made to order primarily from Europe. When ordering these joints remember they are to suit the bore size of the pipes so the “schedule” of the pipe has to match.
