Flanges

Flanges to AS, DIN, JIS and ANSI specifications in Carbon steel, Stainless and Alloys such as Duplex from stock and Australian Manufacture.

AS or Australian Standard Flanges to AS 2129 are a carry over from BS10 and “Australianised”. They are available in Table D, Table E, Table F and Table H. Tables D and E are usually plate steel whilst Tables F and H are mainly Forged steel. AS4087 – PN16, PN21 and PN35 getting into waterworks side of the industry can dimensionally be similar in various sizes / pressure ratings to the AS 2129 and worth checking. ASME B16.5 are the basic American petroleum industry standard. Some refer to them as ASA and others ANSI flanges. These are ASA150, ASA 300, ASA 600, ASA900, ASA 1500 and ASA2500 all of which are forged flanges. Above Class 2500 API standards are more prevalent (API 2000, API 3000, API5000 etc).

As of 2023 the inclusion of Spectacle Blinds (Line Blinds) and Orifice Plates has been added to the range.

Monolithic Joints are used to electrically isolate sections of pipelines. In certain sizes and materials they are available from Australian stocks. Class 150 through to Class 2500 up to 300nb in size with specials above that up to 1050nb and exotic alloys made to order primarily from Europe. When ordering these joints remember they are to suit the bore size of the pipes so the “schedule” of the pipe has to match.

Gaskets

Gaskets to suit AS, DIN and ANSI flanges in Fibre, Mica, Graphite, Rubber and Spiral Wound. Specials cut to order.

Bolting

Bolting either Hex head (bolt and nut) or stud type (comprising a stud and 2 nuts) in steel (plain or coated ie CAD Gal or Xylan,) or stainless.

For those clients working on smaller jobs it can be more convenient to be supplied package all 3 components into kits relevant to each size and type making it logistically quicker for a fitter or serviceman to take to site.
