Solenoid valve for air liquid and steam in brass, stainless steel and cast 12v, 24v, 110v or 240v. Threaded pipe connections or namur mount.
Solenoid Valves generally are on / off valves which, when electrically energized or de-energized, either shut off or allow fluid flow through the valve body. Some types can also have multi ports allowing flow diversions. Smaller solenoids can drive larger valves and in essence combine to form a larger unit. They can be pilot operated. direct acting, differential, high pressure, high temperature. Critical service units, or explosion proof for hazardous areas of category 2 and 3 and are certified in accordance with ATEX, IECEx. Various body materials are available such as plastic, brass and stainless steel.
The common DC voltages are 6, 12, 24, 120, and 240 volts. Common AC voltages at 60 Hz are 24, 120, 240, and 480 volts. For AC voltages at 50 Hz they can be 110 or 220 volts. II is common to have them close coupled to Pneumatic actuators namur mount to facilitate actuator control.
The sizes range depending on the style generally from 6nb through to 80nb however can go up to 900nb in some combined units. Most are either close coupled or threaded ends, larger combined units are flanged. Solenoid valves are predominantly low pressure units below 200psi. However the larger combined units we are able to supply up to 40 Bar. There are many options and styles and we aim to offer the most suitable to suit your particular application.
NEW PRODUCT HIGH TEMP OIL SERVICE SOLENOID
NEW PRODUCT 2021– Solenoid valve for hot oil service 250 Deg C sizes 10nb to 100nb Stainless steel body BSP and flanged connections. Generally “High temperature” solenoids on the market today are rated to 180 or 225 Degrees C maximum. In reality this can be questionable as a sustained operation temperature more ideally a burst or short period temperature. Apart from the sealing the heat into the coil can also cause operational issues or early life failures. True Hot oil valves engineered to operating above 150 C temperatures are quite unique and visually easy to identify. Contact us for further information.
